Continental
A multi-platform Design System created to standardize, scale, and accelerate the development of digital products built across the 4 countries where the brand operates.

CONTINENTAL's Design System will be the single source of truth for consistency, efficiency, and quality when building digital products across the 4 countries where the brand operates.
It will align design, development, and product teams under one shared language, reducing duplicated effort and speeding up decisions. It will define not just how interfaces look, but how they function and get implemented, keeping consistency regardless of product, platform, or market.
A scalable foundation, built in Figma and documented on a custom Next.js platform, with no external tools required.

Documentation
Built from scratch as a proprietary platform — no Zeroheight or similar tools — developed in Next.js and deployed on Vercel, with a section-based navigation structure that lets content scale with no rework needed.

Variables
Built with Figma's Variables system, in two layers: primitive tokens (base values for color, typography, and spacing) and semantic tokens that reference them by use (background, text, border, state). With modes configured by brand and country, a single variable change propagates to any product without touching a single screen. Those same tokens were applied directly in the products' own front-end, keeping one source of truth between design and code.

Components
Built with Figma's Auto Layout and variants, each component inherits its values directly from semantic tokens, with no hardcoded colors or spacing. Each one covers its states (default, hover, disabled, error) and adapts responsively to different screen sizes, ready to be assembled into any product without additional adjustments.

CONTINENTAL in practice
Put to work in a real workflow, mapping every possible case for each screen — empty states, errors, loading, variants — so QA and development can build without ambiguity. Everything ships handoff-ready straight from Figma, with no implementation decisions left to chance.
