Santa Isabel
A Chilean supermarket that made the leap from online store to mobile app, evolving into a more accessible and complete experience for its customers, available on iOS and Android.

Each operating system has independent flows, connected to dedicated libraries that respect the native differences between Human Interface Guidelines (iOS) and Material Design (Android).
The project ran inside an established operation, working alongside in-house product, development, and research teams at every stage of the design process.
The result was a more modern, consistent experience built for conversion, in line with the design standards across the brand's digital portfolio.

Light and dark mode
Light and dark mode came out of a later evolution of the app, built with Figma Variables: one component set that switches theme automatically with the active mode — no duplicated screens, no parallel libraries to maintain.

App design
In that same iteration, and because this was a native app, components carried their own variants per operating system — respecting each one's native controls and patterns (tab bars, switches, navigation) inside a single library, wired to the same semantic tokens so both platforms share one visual identity.
Each component was also put through accessibility testing: color contrast, screen reader compatibility (VoiceOver and TalkBack), focus states, and type scaling.
